I'm continuing to read Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity by Peter Attia, MD with Bill Gifford. One powerful insight from the book: Dr. Attia emphasizes that "Medicine 3.0" focuses on prevention and longevity by addressing the four horsemen of chronic disease (heart disease, cancer, neurodegenerative disease, and metabolic dysfunction) decades before they become life-threatening, rather than waiting to treat them after symptoms appear.

At the Eloise Real Estate Group, we have over 25 years of combined local real estate expertise. As your trusted realtors in the Oakland Bay Area, we want to keep you informed about the latest trends in the California real estate market. As we enter the beginning of June, I find myself reflecting on May and all that the month represents. When I think of May, I think of springtime — a season of growth and renewal — and also a time to honor and remember mothers. I had an amazing mom. She passed away 28 years ago, but I feel a deep love whenever I think of her, which is often. Her memory lives in my heart, always. I'm also thankful to have some amazing children of my own. Every year, I receive beautiful vases filled with flowers and heartfelt cards. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by people who love me — and who aren’t shy about showing it. So, to my children: thank you.
