A Dream in the Bay Area
A story of patience, persistence and success.
Helping first time homebuyers is my purpose. This story is a powerful reminder of that.
Our clients had a very real deadline: just 20 days to secure a home and to stay within a budget in order to take advantage of the California Dream For All Program. The CalHFA Dream for All is a “down payment and/or closing cost assistance program for first-generation homebuyers, used with the Dream For All Conventional first mortgage.” Being able to utilize programs like this can be the difference between homeownership or a dream deferred.
We were determined, stayed focused. With intention and strategy, we found a home for our clients that met their needs and exceeded expectations.
There were challenges. One of our clients was out of the country with limited access to Wi-Fi during escrow. Every moment counted. We relied on our timing and communication skills. Tight windows, proactive productivity and organization made sure every detail of the transaction was handled deftly and every deadline was met.
As many first-time homebuyers can attest to, negotiations are an emotional journey. Our clients required patience, guidance, and strong advocacy every step of the way.
The result?
Our clients secured their dream home, stayed within budget and even received credits at closing—we’ll always take those kinds of wins.
At Eloise Middleton Real Estate Group we understand that buying a home—especially for the first time—is more than a purchase. Our goal as real estate experts is to help navigate transitions with care, smarts and heart.
If you or someone you know is thinking about buying in Oakland, or have questions about the East Bay real estate market, we’re here to help guide you every step of the way.
